So, to help you boost your online presence, I’ve got here some tips on writing content for your article marketing efforts. However, we must define first what article marketing is.

What is Article Marketing?

Article Marketing

Article marketing is the creation and distribution of text articles to different online venues such as article directories, newsletter publishers, forums and offline channels like newspapers and magazines.

Everyone typically benefits from article marketing – whether you are selling products, affiliate products or services or even if you are just aiming to achieve traffic to an opt-in page, a site filled with affiliate links or an AdSense site. What makes article marketing the top choice among online marketers is that it is both an effective Internet marketing strategy and an inexpensive one too!

Article marketing helps you and your business grow in the sense that it is capable of becoming viral. That means anything you post can easily be spread worldwide especially when readers find it truly valuable. To write high-quality and traffic-generating content, keep the following things in mind:

Tips to write high-quality and traffic-generating content for Article Marketing

Ideas can be triggered anytime, anywhere so it would be of benefit if you keep a diary or a journal handy.

When an idea pops out, you can easily write it down and begin creating an entire article about it once you have the luxury of time to do so.

Relax and take time to organize your thoughts

We all know that we can’t come up with something useful when our heads are filled with so much clutter. So, the next time you decide to organize your thoughts and put it into writing, make sure that your mind is worry-free. All the wonderful experiences and brilliant ideas will definitely be in reach when you are in a relaxed mood.

Have a conducive working place that can ignite your creativity.

This means setting yourself off-limits from any distractions such as the television, radio, dogs barking or the noise of your children or housemates.

Don’t forget that you are targeting web traffic so you have to write using well-researched keywords with the right density.

Uh, oh, but I hate writing! So, would this mean I won’t have any chance to rank up?

This kind of thinking is only for the losers. When you have done everything you can and still couldn’t squeeze out something to come up with even just a sentence, then the wisest decision that you can take is to outsource the writing stuff. Seek the help of a professional for your article marketing efforts.

    Hi John,

Good to see you on my blog and thanks for the comment. Having your diary with you all the time is going to help you improve your writings. I still keep a small diary and it has helped me tremendously.

thanks for sharing your insights. I found it helpful to use Evernote to record and file my ideas. So anytime an idea pops up, I can note it, including even voice recording.

Other than hat, I haven’t done any article marketing so far. Time to look into it, right ?

    Take care

    Hi Annetta,

If you have a blog then writing articles should be a breeze. It’s just an extension of what you’re already doing right! Okay so it’s more of sharing the benefits of what you’re offering but that’s the way to get people interested in what you share.

I’ve been doing article marketing on and off for quite some time now. It’s really beneficial and can help also get your blog noticed in the search engines having your articles link back to your blog. It’s really a win/win situation so just jump on in. Get your feet wet because you’ll see the benefit of what article marketing can do for you.

Enjoyed this post and love this topic. Thank you for sharing and enjoy your weekend.

    Hi Annetta,

Great tips! I have my best ideas for an article (or blog post) when I’m at the weirdest places. Like on a walk, in the car or in the shower. It’s hard to take a journal or diary along to those places, don’t you think? But anyways, sometimes I remember those ideas later as well and yes, then I should write them down.

I often get ideas when I’m on webinars or reading other blog post or articles as well.

    Thanks for enlightening us!

  7. Sometimes the idea for the article is sound, but you find yourself falling short in content. It never hurts to look at what you have, ask some questions and then try to answer them in the rest of the article.

To keep your article marketing efforts fresh, vary the formats of your articles frequently. Do not get complacent and stuff new content into the same formula over and over. Use tip lists, how-to’s, anecdotes and other archetypes to add variety to your articles. Not only will varied article formats retain your readers’ interest, but also you will find them more interesting to produce this way.
